eFront is the main product of Epignosis LTD a dynamic, technology oriented eLearning company that was founded in November 2003.

eFront's implementation enables functions such as community learning, supports the principles of collective knowledge and provides functionality towards personalized learning. In February 2006, eFront got certified for its compliance with the international standard SCORM.

We realized that user's frustrations with other eLearning software presented a compelling market opportunity. The cost of enterprise eLearning tools was too high while current open-source eLearning tools lack a professional, expansible and, importantly, a beauty touch. Here was a chance to make the world a better place - by creating a "refreshing" learning experience through a tool that would be fun to use.

eFront bridges the gap between Enterprise, Educational, Open-Source and Proprietary learning combining the best from all worlds.

Epignosis LTD (a member of Vtrip Group of companies), is based in Aspropirgos, Attica, Greece. The Research and Development department is accomodated in Patras, Greece and Thessaloniki, Greece. Among the organizations that use eFront to cover their educational needs lie the Greek Ministry of Public Order, the "General Federation of Handcraftmen, Professionals and Traders", the Greek companies PLAISIO, ALEX PACK, PLEGMA, ACTIVE and the Polish Ministry of Interior.
